Group A – Liberia, Uruguay, Ireland
– Liberia wins the group with a win or tie against Ireland. They also win the group with a loss and allowing 2 or fewer goals and fewer cards than Ireland or a loss and only one goal allowed. Will finish in second with a loss and allowing 3 goals or more. Will come in last with a loss and allowing 7 goals and losing the cards tiebreaker or a loss and allowing 8 goals.
– Uruguay wins the group with a Liberia loss to Ireland and both teams finishing with more than 8 goals allowed. They will finish in second with a Liberia win, Liberia/Ireland tie, or an Ireland win and having fewer goals allowed than one of Ireland or Liberia. Will finish in last if Ireland wins and both Liberia and Ireland finish with fewer than 8 goals allowed.
– Ireland wins the group with a 2 goal win over Liberia and beating them in the cards tiebreaker or a 3 goal win over Liberia. Clinches a spot in the Round of 32 with a win and beating one of Liberia or Uruguay in the goals allowed tiebreaker or tying one of them in goals allowed and winning the cards tiebreaker. Ireland is eliminated from the Round of 32 with a loss or tie.
Group B – Mali, Italy, Guatemala
– Mali clinched a spot in the Round of 32 with their win over Guatemala in week 2. They will win the group with a win or tie vs Italy. They will finish second in the group with a loss to Italy.
– Italy clinches a spot in the round of 32 with a win or tie against Mali. They will finish second in the group with a tie, first in the group with a win. Will not advance if they lose to Mali and finish with more goals allowed than Guatemala. If they lose and finish with the same number of goals allowed, it will come down to the cards tiebreaker.
– Guatemala will only advance if Italy loses and allows 5 or more goals or if Italy loses and allows 4 goals and loses the card tiebreaker.
Group C – Romania, Vietnam, Ethiopia
– Romania wins the group with a win or tie against Ethiopia. They will also win the group if they lose to Ethiopia but allow 1 or fewer goals. Can also win the group if they lose to Ethiopia and allow 2 goals and win the card tiebreaker over Vietnam. Will finish in second with a loss and allowing between 2 goals (with tiebreakers) and 4 goals (with tiebreakers). Will not advance to the Round of 32 with a loss and allowing 4 goals and losing the card tiebreaker to Ethiopia or allowing 5 or more goals.
– Vietnam wins the group with a Romania loss and them allowing 2 goals and having fewer cards than Romania or if Romania loses and allows 3 or more goals.. Vietnam finishes second in the group with a Romania win or Romania/Ethiopia tie. They have clinched a spot in the Round of 32 since they will have the goals allowed tiebreaker over Ethiopia.
– Ethiopia can only advance to the Round of 32 with a win over Romania while scoring 5 more goals than they allow.
Group D – Poland, South Korea, Gambia
– Poland clinched the group with their win in week 2. They will play the second place team from Group C.
– South Korea can only advance with a win over Gambia – they lose all tiebreakers due to missing the mandatory captains meeting.
– Gambia advances to the Round of 32 with a win or tie.
Group E – Jamaica, Germany, Sudan
– Jamaica wins the group with a Sudan win or Sudan/Germany tie. Can also win the group if Germany wins but allows a goal. Jamaica will finish in second with a shutout Germany win and losing the card tiebreaker to Germany. They have clinched a spot in the round of 32.
– Germany wins the group with a shutout win over Sudan and beating Jamaica in the card tiebreaker. They will finish in second with a win while allowing a goal or tying Sudan.
– Sudan can only advance to the Round of 32 with a win over Germany.
Group F – Honduras, Sierra Leone, England
– Honduras wins the group with a win or tie against England. They will finish second with a loss and allowing 2 goals while losing the cards tiebreaker or with a loss and allowing 3 goals. They will be eliminated from the Round of 32 with a loss and allowing 5 more goals than they score and losing the card tiebreaker or with a loss and allowing 6 more goals than they score.
– Sierra Leone wins the group with a Honduras loss and Honduras allowing 2 goals and winning the cards tiebreaker or with a Honduras loss and them allowing 3 goals. They will finish in second place with a Honduras win or a Honduras/England tie. They have clinched a spot in the Round of 32 since they have the goals allowed tiebreaker over England.
– England can not win the group but can finish in second place with a win and beating Honduras by 5 goals and winning the cards tiebreaker or with a win and beating Honduras by 6 goals. They can not advance with a win by less than 5 goals, a tie, or a loss.
Group G – Bosnia, Israel, Senegal
– Bosnia clinched the group with their win in week 2. They will play the second place team from Group H.
– Israel finishes second in the group with a win or tie against Senegal. Israel has the goals allowed tiebreaker over Senegal. They do not advance with a loss.
– Senegal can only advance with a win over Israel. They have allowed more goals than Israel.
Group H – Mexico, DR Congo, Dominican Republic
– Mexico wins the group with a win or tie against DR Congo. They clinched a spot in the round of 32 with Dominican Republic’s second loss.
– DR Congo can only win the group with a win over Mexico – they lose all tiebreakers due to missing the mandatory captains meeting. They have clinched a spot in the round of 32 with Dominican Republic’s second loss.
– Dominican Republic has been eliminated from the Round of 32 with their second loss of the group stage.
Group I – Ghana, Belarus, Morocco
– Ghana clinched the group with their win in week 2. They will play the second place team from Group G.
– Belarus finishes second in the group with a win or tie against Morocco. Morocco lost all tiebreakers due to missing the mandatory captains meeting.
– Morocco can only advance to the Round of 32 with a win over Belarus.
Group J – Burkina Faso, Greece, Belize
– Burkina Faso clinched the group with their win in week 2. They will play the second place team from Group I.
– Greece finishes second in the group with a win or tie against Belize. They have allowed fewer goals than Belize.
– Belize can only advance to the Round of 32 with a win over Greece.
Group K – Albania, Venezuela, Mauritania
– Albania clinched group with their win in week 2. They will play the second place team from Group L.
– Venezuela clinches second place with a win or tie against Mauritania. They have the goals allowed tiebreaker over Mauritania.
– Mauritania can only advance to the Round of 32 with a win over Venezuela.
Group L – Nigeria, Trinidad, France
– Nigeria clinches the group with a win or tie against Trinidad. They have the goals allowed tiebreaker over Trinidad. They will finish in second place with a loss to Trinidad. They clinched a spot in the Round of 32.
– Trinidad wins the group with a win over Nigeria. They finish in second with a loss or tie. They clinched a spot in the Round of 32.
– France has been eliminated from the Round of 32 with their second loss of the group stage.
Group M – Portugal, Palestine, Ivory Coast
– Portugal clinches the group with a win or tie against Palestine. They have the goals allowed tiebreaker over Palestine. They will finish in second place in the group with a loss to Palestine. They clinched a spot in the Round of 32.
– Palestine can only win the group with a win over Portugal. Portugal has the goals allowed tiebreaker over them. Palestine clinched a spot in the Round of 32.
– Ivory Coast has been eliminated from the Round of 32 with their second loss of the group stage.
Group N – Ukraine, India, Angola
– Ukraine wins the group with a win or tie against Angola. They will finish in second with a loss and allowing between 5 and 15 goals or 4 goals and losing the card tiebreaker. Ukraine will miss the cut for the Round of 32 with a loss and allowing 16 goals or 15 and losing the cards tiebreaker.
– India will win the group with a Ukraine loss and them allowing 5 or more goals, 4 goals if they win the cards tiebreaker. Clinched at least second place since they have the tiebreaker over Angola.
– Angola can only advance to the round of 32 with a 15 goal win over Ukraine and having fewer cards or a 16 goal win over Ukraine.
Group O – Turkey, Colombia, Cameroon
– Turkey wins group with a win or tie against Cameroon. They will also win the group with a loss and allowing only 1 goal or with a loss and allowing 2 goals and winning the cards tiebreaker. Will finish in second with a loss and allowing 2 goals and losing the cards tiebreaker or with a loss and allowing 3 goals. Will be eliminated with a 10 goal loss and losing the cards tiebreaker to Cameroon or with a 11 goal loss.
– Colombia wins the group with a Turkey loss, allowing 2 goals, and winning the cards tiebreaker over them or with a Turkey loss and them allowing 3 goals. Colombia will only finish in second with a Turkey win or tie. They cannot finish lower than 2nd – they have clinched a spot in the Round of 32.
– Cameroon can not win the group but can advance with a 10 goal win over Turkey and having fewer cards than them or with a 11 goal win over Turkey. Cameroon is eliminated from the Round of 32 with a win by less than 10 goals, a tie, or a loss.
Group P – USA, Haiti, Guinea
– USA wins the group with a win or tie against Guinea, or with a 2 goal loss or a 3 goal loss and winning the card tiebreaker. They will finish in second with a loss and a 3 goal loss and losing the card tiebreaker or a 4 goal loss. They will be eliminated from the Round of 32 with a 8 goal loss and losing the cards tiebreaker to Haiti or with a 9 goal loss.
– Haiti wins the group with a 8-5 USA loss and winning the cards tiebreaker over both USA and Guinea, a 9-5 USA loss and winning the cards tiebreaker over Guinea, a 8-6 USA loss and winning the cards tiebreaker over USA, or a 9-6 USA loss. They will come in second with a USA win or tie or if USA loses and they win tiebreakers over one of USA or Guinea. They will not advance with a Guinea win and losing tiebreakers.
– Guinea will only win the group with a 3 goal win over USA and winning the card tiebreaker or with a 4 goal win over USA. They will finish in second with a win and allowing 4 or fewer goals or with a win and allowing 5 goals and winning the cards tiebreaker over Haiti. Guinea will be eliminated with a loss or tie.
