On the heels of The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup™, women in Philadelphia will soon too be able to hit the soccer pitch and represent their country.
8 teams will participate in the first-ever Philadelphia International Unity Cup Women’s Tournament. A draw announcing the two groups of four will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 31st at Penn Treaty Park, and will be broadcast live on The Unity Cup Instagram page.
The Citywide Women’s Tournament will take place on Saturday September 9th, September 16th, September 23rd, and September 30th. The Championship date will soon be announced and will be played at the same time as the Men’s Tournament Final.
