Can you tell us about your team’s make-up? How did your team come together?
I am of Iranian descent. The players asked to enter the Unity Cup as Team Iran in honor of me.
How do you think soccer in general (and the Unity Cup in particular) promotes inclusivity?
Soccer is an international sport that unites people of all races, gender, color, religion, etc.
What places (such as restaurants or cultural centers) or groups in Philadelphia would you recommend to someone if they wanted to learn more about the culture of the country your team represents?

What’s one thing you wish more people would knew about your team’s country?
I wish people could see that the people of Iran are loving and caring humans. This is to not be confused with the government, which is often the case.
